2011
I was born and raised in La Puente California. My
parents signed me up with Dede Soto at age nine and I
took private and group lessons weekly. It was then that I
knew I would devote my life to what I loved most... and
that is Baton Twirling. Today with all my achievements
and awards, I have no regrets! Baton Twirling has made
me the person that I am today! I don't like to lose, I
always give 110% at everything I do and I love to show
others what a wonderful sport baton twirling is.
Baton twirling has allowed me to travel to other countries
to compete, teach and perform. I have been in several
commericials, been in one movie and I have performed
at many other fun events!! I twirled for Bishop Amat
High School (1992-1996) and from 1996 to 2000 I
twirled for the University of Southern California's Trojan
Marching Band. In 2000 I graduated from the Marshall
School of Business with an emphasis in Information
Systems.I worked at Paramount Pictures as a Client
Technology Analyst for three years until I met my
wonderful husband who has allowed me to take a career
change and teach others my talent, which is baton
twirling.
I owe my baton twirling talent to my parents who
devoted their lives in taking me to all my baton lessons,
paying all the bills, teaching me determination,
dedication, to get a good education and most
importantly, love!
